This Sunday, August 23, join us in Ashbridge’s Bay, East Toronto, around a bonfire as we share stories with one another.
Since this will be the 150th anniversary of Treaty Six, we will hear stories about the way that the vast prairie lands became part of Canada through three treaties signed between 1876 and 1899. We’ll share updates on our work with the Remembering Project, including Ben’s recent travels to our partner communities in Northern Ontario. And as always, we will share what this work means to us and to the country we share.
